The functions of the Society are to 

1. Promote Adventure Tourism in Campbell River.
2. Support safe, sustainable adventure tours.
3. Promote the interests of British Columbia’s Campbell River area
4. Work cooperatively with governments, adventure tourism associations, and other individuals and groups with similar purposes and interests to accomplish these purposes,
5. To benefit industry stakeholders by supporting the development and execution of a sustained, coordinated, industry marketing effort to build adventure related tourism revenues by promoting Campbell River as a world-class adventure destination.

Become A Member

There are two levels of Membership, Basic and Promotional. All members must be in good standing with the Destination Marketing Office (DMO), insured with valid professional liability insurance and have obtained all of the provincial and federal industry registration requirements.

• Basic Membership Info

  Becoming a basic member of the Campbell River Association of Tour Operators gives you primary access to a collaboration that amplifies the voice and interest of the tour operators in our region. Additionaly you will receive education programs and first hand information of regulation changes and amendments. This basic level also gives you a listing on the CRAT website under your tour category. Cost – NIL

• Promotional Membership Info

  Cost: $1000 over 2-years

  Members can opt into a full Promotional Package that will entitle them to the following;

  • Full listing on the CRAT website
  • Discounted liability Insurance through AON Canada.
  • Inclusion in the Campbell River City Map under the CRAT preferred member.
  • Full page in the Campbell River Postcard Guide BookletFull listing on the CRAT Website
  • Members will benefit from discounts with Services and Supplies from participating associated businesses in Campbell River.
  • Guests Discounts through loyalty cards with our participating partners in accommodation, dining and travel.

  All members will be issued with a CRAT member card plus Loyalty Cards for their guests.
